Removing
For vehicles with a diesel engine
1. Loosen the rear spring clip on the intake hose.
2. Remove the air filter mounting bolt (arrow).
3. Loosen the air filter housing together with the inlet hose by moving upwards and remove them.
Continuation for all cars
4. Remove the battery and battery bracket.
5. Cover the engine and gearbox with a lint-free cloth.
6. Pump out the maximum amount of brake fluid from the expansion tank.
Vehicles with manual transmission
7. Pinch the return hose (IN) clutch master cylinder with a clamp.
8. Disconnect the hose (IN) clutch master cylinder.

9. Disconnect connector (A) from the brake fluid level sensor.
10. Remove the brake fluid reservoir. To do this, press the locks on the reservoir outward and at the same time remove the reservoir from the seals.
11. Unscrew the brake lines from the master brake cylinder (1). Plug the pipes immediately.
12. Unscrew the nuts (2) fixing the brake master cylinder.
13. If present, remove the heat shield.
14. Carefully disconnect the brake master cylinder from the brake booster.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
When installing, pay attention to the following points:
- when connecting the master brake cylinder to the brake booster, make sure that the pusher is in the correct position in the master brake cylinder;
- bleed air from the brake system.
Tightening torques:
- Brake master cylinder to brake booster: 25 Nm, use new nuts only!.
- Brake lines to brake master cylinder: 14 Nm.
