Adjustment is necessary only after replacing the cables, caliper and brake discs.
1. Remove the ashtray bracket.
2. Depress the brake pedal at least three times.
3. Turn on/off the parking brake at least 3 times.
4. Release the parking brake.
The center console has been removed for clarity.
5. Tighten the nut (arrow) (see fig. VC 7.029) until the lever (1) on the caliper will not come close to the stop (2) (see fig. VC7,030).
Distance (A) all the way (2) on the left and right calipers should be within 1.3 mm.
6. Make sure both wheels turn freely.
The adjusting nut must be screwed on in such a way that at least one turn of the rod thread is visible, otherwise the fixation of the nut is not guaranteed.
After carrying out these works, the mechanism for automatic adjustment of the parking brake will provide the clearance necessary for its normal operation.
