Removing
When removing, mark the brake pads suitable for further use. They must be installed back in the same places, otherwise there will be an uneven distribution of braking forces between the wheels!
1. Remove the wheels.
2. Unscrew the brake caliper mounting bolts, keeping the guide from turning.
3. Remove the brake caliper and tie it with wire so that it does not damage the brake hose with its weight.
4. Remove the brake pads and brake pad holders (arrows).
Installation
1. Screw the piston into the caliper by turning the handwheel of the tool without damaging the piston collar.
If the rotation of the piston is difficult, turn the lead screw of the device with a 13 mm open-end wrench for the flats provided for this (arrow A).
2. Install the brake shoe holders and brake shoes on the brake caliper. When doing this, make sure that the brake pads are in the correct position in the holders (arrows).
3. Fix the brake caliper with new self-locking bolts.
4. Install wheels.
Tightening torque: Hexagon bolt, brake caliper to caliper: 35 Nm.
Attention: only new bolts should be used!
