Brake caliper repair (FN 3) (VW Caddy 3)

When carrying out repair work, install all parts from the repair kit.

Use only alcohol to clean brakes.

Apply a thin layer of mounting paste G 052 150 A2 to the walls of the brake cylinder holes, pistons and seals.

1. Protective cap:
- put on the bleed nipple.
2. Bleed nipple: 10 Nm:
- Before tightening, lightly lubricate the threads with mounting paste G 052150 A2.
3. Caps:
- is inserted into the support sleeve.
4. Guide: 30 Nm.
5. Support sleeve:
- insert into the brake caliper.
6. Brake caliper.
7. The bracket to which the brake caliper is attached.
8. Support spring:
- inserted with both ends into the holes of the brake caliper.
9. Sealing ring.
10. Piston:
- first apply a small amount of mounting paste G 052 150 A2 to the piston.
11. Sealing cuff:
- do not damage the piston during installation.
