Removing
Work is carried out only for the replacement or subsequent repair of the brake caliper.
1. Remove the wheels.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector of the pad wear sensor cable.
3. Connect the hose of the bleed tank to the caliper bleed valve and loosen the valve in the caliper.
4. Install spacer.
5. Screw on the fitting and disconnect the hose of the venting container.
6. Unscrew the brake hose.
7. Remove both caps from the caliper guide bushings.
8. Unscrew and remove both guides from the brake caliper.
9. Remove the caliper from the brake caliper.
10. Remove the pads from the brake caliper.
Installation
1. Push the piston into the brake cylinder.
2. Insert the inner and outer pads into the caliper before installing the spring clips.
3. Install the caliper with pads on the brake caliper (see fig. VC 7.010).
4. Screw the brake caliper to the bracket with two guides.
The brake caliper pin must be behind the brake caliper guide!
5. Install both protective caps.
6. Screw the brake hose to the caliper.
7. Remove spacer.
8. Connect the pad wear sensor cable connectors..
9. Remove air from the brake system,
10. Install wheels.
Tightening torques:
- Guides to brake caliper: 30 Nm,
- Brake hose to caliper: 35 Nm.
