Removing
1. Loosen wheel bolts. The car is on wheels.
2. Mark the position of the disc relative to the wheel hub with paint so that the balanced wheel is then set to its original position and rolling direction.
3. Put the car on stands, remove the rear wheel.
4. Release the handbrake
5. Loosen the hexagon socket screw of the brake drum with a 5 mm wrench.
6. In order to be able to remove the brake drum, it is necessary to wring out the brake pads. To do this, use a screwdriver to turn the automatic adjustment gear through the hole in the brake support until the brake linings are no longer in contact with the brake drum. The wheel must turn freely.
7. Remove brake drum. If necessary, remove the drum from the wheel hub with a universal puller.
Installation
1. Thoroughly clean the brake drum. To grind a drum with traces of furrows. In this case, always grind both drums. For wear limit, see subsection 7.2.
2. Make a basic adjustment of the rear wheel brake pads.
3. Install brake drum and secure with hexagon socket screw.
4. Install the wheel, observing the markings. Remove the machine from the gantry and tighten the bolts crosswise to 160 Nm.
Attention! Depress the foot brake pedal repeatedly with the hand brake released. In this case, automatic adjustment sets the brake pads in the desired position.
