Removing
Work is carried out only for the replacement or subsequent repair of the brake caliper.
Remove wheels.
Pry off with a screwdriver and remove the retaining spring from the brake caliper.
Disconnect the brake pad wear sensor cable electrical connector.
Connect the hose of the bleeder container to the caliper bleeder and loosen the bleeder.
Install spacer.
Screw on the fitting and disconnect the hose of the venting container.
Unscrew the brake hose.
Remove both caps from the caliper guide bushings.
Unscrew and remove both guides from the brake caliper.
Remove the caliper from the brake caliper.
Remove pads from brake caliper.
Installation
The piston is recessed into the cylinder.
The outer shoe is installed in the brake caliper.
Insert the inner brake shoe with retaining spring into the brake caliper (piston).
When installing, glue the block only when it is in the correct position in the caliper.
Avoid damaging the adhesive layer.
Screw the brake caliper to the bracket with two guides.
Install both protective caps.
Screw the brake hose to the caliper.
Remove spacer.
Install the retaining spring into the brake caliper.
Connect the pad wear sensor cable connectors.
Bleed the brake system
Install wheels.
Tightening torques:
- Guides to brake caliper: 30 Nm.
- Brake hose to caliper: 35 Nm.
