List of parts and assemblies with notes on installation work for Figure VC7.023:
1. Speed Sensor (ABS):
- before installing the sensor, clean the hole and apply a little plastic refractory grease G 052 112 AZ.
2. Hexagon socket head bolt: 8 Nm.
3. Bolt: 90 Nm and tighten by turning 90°:
- replace after each removal.
4. Rear beam with trunnion.
5. Shield.
6. Hexagon head bolt.
7. Bearing unit.
8. Brake disc:
- diameter 15 inches: 260 mm:
- diameter 16 inches: 286 mm;
- 15 inch thickness: 12 mm;
- 16 inch thickness: 12 mm;
- maximum thickness tolerance during wear:
- 15 inches: 10 mm;
- 16 inches: 10 mm;
- if worn, replace both axle brake discs at once;
- to remove, you must first remove the brake caliper and brake bracket.
9. Phillips head screw: 9 Nm.
10. Hub bolt.
11. Brake pads:
- thickness 11 mm (excluding the thickness of the base plate);
- tolerance limit: 2 mm without back plate;
- replace all pads for the corresponding axle.
12. Bracket with guides and sealing cuffs:
- supplied in grease, assembled with guides as a single spare part;
- if the sealing cuffs or guides are damaged, install a repair kit. When installing the guides, use the supplied tube of lubricant.
13. Brake pad holder:
- always replaced when changing pads.
14. Brake caliper:
- to replace the brake pads, you do not need to unscrew the brake hose;
- after repair or replacement, adjust the parking brake cable.
15. Brake pipe: 14 Nm.
16. Parking brake cable.
17. Brake hose
18. Self-locking bolt: 35 Nm:
- replace with a new one.
19. Hose holder.
