List of parts and assemblies of the rear brake caliper with technological notes on repair for figure VC7.031:
1. Brake caliper with parking brake lever:
- replace the caliper if a leak is detected in the area of the parking brake lever;
- after repairing the brake caliper, perform its preliminary bleeding.
2. Protective cap.
3. Bleed valve: 10 Nm:
- Before tightening, lightly lubricate the thread with mounting paste G 052 150 A2.
4. Self-locking bolt: 35 Nm:
- when removing and installing, it is necessary to secure the guides from rotating.
5. Guide:
- lubricate before installing the protective cap.
6. Sealing cuff:
- is placed on the guide and fixed in the bracket.
7. Bracket with guides and sealing cuffs:
- the figure shows the brake mechanisms of the C II 41;
- supplied in grease, assembled with guides as a single spare part;
- if the sealing cuffs or guides are damaged, install a repair kit. When installing the guides, use the supplied tube of lubricant.
8. Sealing cuff:
- is placed on the piston with the outer edge.
9. Piston with automatic position adjustment:
- first apply a small amount of mounting paste G 052150 A2 to the piston.
10. Sealing ring.
