When replacing the brake pads, check and, if necessary, correct the parking brake setting, for which:
- set the parking brake lever to the lowest position;
- loosen the adjusting nut of the cable equalizer as far as possible;
- press the brake pedal once;
- tighten the parking brake and two sector teeth;
- turn the equalizer adjusting nut until both rear wheels are difficult to turn by hand;
- set the parking brake lever to the lowest position and make sure that both rear wheels rotate freely.
