Adjustments can only be made using the adjustment devices on the two rear wheels. Adjustment cannot be made on the parking brake lever and the transmission module on the center console.
Pay attention to the correct laying of the brake cables of the parking brake.
If the brake pads have been replaced, set the gap to 6 teeth. Finally, run in the brake pads by simultaneously braking the vehicle with the parking brake at a speed of approximately 50 km/h. In doing so, do not block the rear wheels.
The pedal parking brake lever is released.
Remove rear wheels.
The brake discs must spin freely. Otherwise, lightly depress the brake pads or pull the brake cables slightly in opposite directions.
Unscrew the locking bolt of the parking brake adjusting nut (pic. 6.47).
