1. ABS control unit (J104):
- installation location: on the right side of the engine compartment on the hydraulic block;
- do not disconnect the connector before performing self-diagnosis, turn off the ignition before disconnecting the connector.
2. ABS hydraulic unit (N55);
- installation location: in the engine compartment on the right;
- the hydraulic unit includes the following units:
- hydraulic pump A8S (V64);
- brake hydraulic pressure sensor (G201);
- valve block (contains inlet and outlet valves);
- the ABS hydraulic pump (V64) and the valve block are a single, non-disassemblable unit.
3. Brake pad thickness indicator lamp (K32):
- location: in the instrument cluster.
4. ABS control lamp (K47):
- installation location: in the instrument cluster.
5. ESP and ASR control lamp (K155):
- location: in the instrument cluster.
6. Brake system indicator lamp (K118):
- location: in the instrument cluster.
7. Brake light switch (F) and brake pedal switch (F47):
- To ensure sufficient security of fit, the brake light switch may only be installed once.
8. ASR and ESP systems button (E256):
- location: on the center console.
9. ESP sensor block (G419):
- installation location: behind the glove compartment;
- the lateral acceleration sensor (G200) and the vehicle rotation speed sensor (G202) are housed in a single housing
10. Steering wheel angle sensor (G85):
- installation location: on the steering column, between the steering wheel and the steering column switch.
11. Diagnostic connector:
- location: trim in the driver's footwell area.
12. Front right (G45) and left (G47) wheel speed sensors.
13. Steering knuckle.
14. Hub with bearing:
- a magnetic ring for the ABS sensor is built into the bearing.
15. Rear right (G44) and left (G46) wheel speed sensors.
16. Rear beam with trunnion.
17. Wheel hub with bearing (bearing unit):
- a magnetic ring for the ABS sensor is built into the bearing.
