Removal (with the cylinder head installed)
Remove the camshafts.
Remove the pump injectors.
Move the piston of the corresponding cylinder to the TDC position.
Bolt the valve mounting fixture to the cylinder head.

Remove the valve springs using a valve puller or drift (fig. 2.312).
Note: In this case, the valves rest on the bottom of the piston.
Remove the valve stem seals using a puller.
Installation
Place the plastic cover A included in the repair kit onto the corresponding valve stem. This helps to avoid damage to the new valve stem seal B.

Install the new valve stem seal into the valve stem seal press tool (fig. 2.313).
Lubricate the working edge of the valve stem seal and install it onto the valve guide bushing until it stops.
Install the pump injectors.
Install the camshafts.
