Removal (with the cylinder head installed)
Remove the EGR valve.
Remove the camshaft housing.
Remove the roller arms and place them on a clean surface. Do not swap the roller arms.
Remove the spark plugs with a spark plug wrench.
Bring the piston of the corresponding cylinder to "bottom dead center".

Screw on the valve spring clamp with the mandrel (Fig. 2.53).
Now screw the pressure hose into the spark plug socket.
Apply compressed air at an excess pressure of at least 6 bar through the pressure hose and remove the valve springs.
Remove the valve stem seals using special tool 3364.
Installation
Place the plastic cover included in the repair kit on the corresponding valve stem. This will prevent damage to the new valve stem seals.
Install the new valve stem seal into the valve stem seal press tool.

Lubricate the working edge of the valve stem seal and carefully place it on the valve guide sleeve (Fig. 2.54).
Install the camshaft housing.
Adjust the valve timing.
Further installation is carried out in the reverse order. In this case, the following must be taken into account.
