Removing
Remove the crankcase protection.
Unbolt the front intake pipe from the exhaust manifold.
Pic. 2.55. 3 pin plug
Disconnect the 3-pin plug from the oil level and temperature sensor 1 (pic. 2.55).
Drain the engine oil.
Unscrew the oil pan sealed with liquid sealant.
Remove the oil pan. You can carefully use a rubber mallet to loosen the oil pan.
Remove any remaining sealant on the cylinder block with a flat scraper.
Remove any remaining sealant on the oil pan using a rotating brush attachment, such as a hand drill with a set of plastic bristle brush attachments (wear safety goggles).
Clean the seating surfaces. They must be free of oil and grease.
Installation
Cut off the tip of the tube at the front mark (holes about 3mm).
Note: Observe the expiration date of the sealant.
Note: The oil pan must be installed within 5 minutes of applying the silicone sealant.
Note: The oil sump can be installed more easily and more accurately if M6 grub screws are screwed in as guides in two places on the cylinder block flange.
Apply silicone sealant as shown to the clean seating surface of the oil pan. The sealant bead should be 2-3 mm thick.
In places of holes for fixing bolts, apply sealant from the inside
Note: The sealant bead must not be thicker than the specified dimensions, otherwise excess sealant may enter the oil pan and clog the strainer in the oil pickup pipe.
Install the oil pan immediately and lightly tighten all mounting bolts.
Tighten the oil pan mounting bolts with a tightening torque of 13 Nm.
Note: After installing the oil pan, the sealant should dry in about 30 minutes. Only after that you can fill in engine oil.
