Removing
Loosen the driveshaft hex bolt.
Remove the wheel.
Loosen the nuts.
Slightly pull the drive shaft out of the wheel hub.
Remove the hinge from the lever.
Tilt the lever down as far as necessary.

Install the ball joint puller as shown in Figure 4.45 and press out the joint.
Note: Place an engine and transmission stand or equivalent (risk of injury due to falling parts when the joint is pressed out).
Note: To protect the threads, leave the nut on the pivot by a few turns of thread.
Installation
Insert the pivot into the wheel bearing housing.
Insert the drive shaft into the wheel hub.
Screw on new self-locking nuts, use internal Torx as a counterhold.
Tighten nuts.
Note: Check the boot for damage and twisting.
Note: Install and screw the wheel, tightening torque.
Note: Tighten the drive shaft hex bolt.
Note: When doing this, the vehicle must not be on wheels, otherwise the wheel bearing will be damaged.
