Execution order
1. If present, remove the air filter housing (1), see Fig. Air filter housing (1) and air intake pipe with clamp (2).
2. Loosen the air intake pipe clamp (2), see Fig. Air filter housing (1) and air intake pipe with clamp (2).
3. Loosen the clamp (2) and disconnect the air duct from the air filter housing, see Fig. Location of quick-release clamps (1) and air duct mounting clamp (2).
4. Open the quick-release clamps (1) by hand, lift the air filter cover and remove the old filter element, see Fig. Location of the quick-release clamps (1) and the air duct clamp (2).
5. Depending on the vehicle configuration, a mesh may be installed in the lower part of the air filter, in the intake duct area. The mesh is designed to trap large contaminants, snow and ice so that they do not block the filter element. If there is a mesh, unscrew the mesh mounting bolt (1), remove the mesh and clean it, see Fig. Location of the mesh (1) and mounting bolt (2) in the air filter housing.
6. Carefully clean the inside surfaces of the air filter cover and housing.
7. If there is a mesh, install it into the filter housing and secure it with a bolt.
8. Install the filter element into the air filter housing.
9. Install the air cleaner cover and secure it with the quick-release fasteners.
Install the air duct and secure it with a clamp.
Secure the air intake pipe with a clamp.
If equipped, install the air cleaner housing.
