Replacing the air filter element (VW Golf 4)

1. Unscrew the screws (indicated by arrows) and remove the air filter cover.

2. Remove the old filter element.

3. Carefully clean the inside surfaces of the air filter cover and housing.

4. Install the filter element into the air filter housing.

5. Install the air filter cover and secure it with screws.
