Handbrake lever fastening elements

- 1 - handbrake lever,
- 2 - nut, 25 Nm,
- 3 - compensator,
- 4 - handbrake cables,
- 5 - decorative trim for handbrake lever
Removal
1. Remove the rear center console trim.

2. Unscrew the two nuts (1) securing the base of the handbrake lever. Using a screwdriver blade, through the hole in the base of the handbrake lever, moving downwards, disconnect the handbrake cable from the lever.
3. Remove the handbrake lever.
Installation
1. Connect the handbrake cable to the compensator.
2. Screw on the handbrake lever mounting nuts and tighten them to a torque of 25 Nm.
3. Check and, if necessary, adjust the operation of the handbrake cables.
4. Install the rear center console trim.
