Execution order
1. Close the hood and check its position relative to adjacent surfaces. Adjust the position of the hood so that when the hood is closed, the gap around the perimeter of the hood is the same on all sides. To adjust, loosen the hood hinge bolts and adjust its position by moving the hood. After adjustment, tighten the hood hinge bolts. If necessary, adjust the gap by changing the position of the front fenders of the car.
2. Tighten the bonnet hinge mounting bolts to 25 Nm.
3. To adjust the front of the hood by height, mark the location of the hood lock mounting bolts with a felt-tip pen and loosen the bolts. Adjust the hood installation height by moving the hood lock to the appropriate side along the bracket. Tighten the hood lock mounting bolts to a torque of 10 Nm.
4. Check that the rubber buffers support the front part of the hood when the hood is closed. If not, adjust the height of the rubber buffers by rotating them in the appropriate directions.
5. Check the installation height of the rubber buffers as follows. Open the hood and glue pieces of plasticine on top of the rubber buffers. Close and reopen the hood. Measure the thickness of the deformed pieces of plasticine. If necessary, unscrew the rubber buffers to the required distance.
6. Check that the hood fits correctly against the side guides.
