Bonnet lock fastening elements

- 1 - hood lock,
- 2 - mandrel,
- 3 - hood lock release lever,
- 4 - clamp,
- 5 - screwdriver blade,
- 6 - self-locking bolt, 12 Nm,
- 7 - micro switch,
- 8 - hood lock release cable
Warning: Before removing lever 3, the radiator grille must first be removed.
Warning: The 5mm screwdriver is used to pry the tabs at the rear of the bonnet lock lever before removing the lever.
Warning: Bolts 6 are used to secure the bonnet lock. New bolts must be used during installation.
Warning: Microswitch 7 is installed if the vehicle is equipped with an anti-theft system.
Warning: The hood release lock position is adjusted by moving it using the enlarged holes for the hood mounting bolts. Before adjusting the hood release lock position, loosen the lock mounting bolts.
Removal
1. Using a screwdriver blade, at the rear of the hood release lever, pry apart the tabs and remove the lever.
2. Remove the two self-locking bolts securing the hood lock.
3. Disconnect the hood release cable from the lock.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the anti-theft alarm microswitch.
5. Remove the hood lock from the vehicle.
