Adjustment
Proper spraying of liquid on the windshield
The location of the eccentric for adjusting the sprayed jet of liquid in height
The direction of rotation of the jets in the rear window washer nozzles on the Wagon models
The location of the liquid supply points on the glass of the left headlight
- A = 60 mm
- H = 205 mm
- C = 75 mm
- D = 80 mm
On vehicles manufactured before XII.96, the position of the washer nozzles is not adjustable. If the jet of liquid sprayed by the nozzles is at different heights of the windshield, it is necessary to replace the washer nozzles with adjustable washer nozzles, which are installed on models from I.97, see fig. Proper spraying of liquid on the windshield.
On cars manufactured with I.97, adjustable washer nozzles are installed, which allow you to adjust the height of the spray jet of liquid. For this, an eccentric is installed at the base of the nozzle. When turning the eccentric counterclockwise, the jet of liquid sprayed by the nozzle rises, see fig. The location of the eccentric for adjusting the spray jet of liquid in height.
The rear window washer nozzle on station wagon models should spray the fluid into the center of the rear window. The direction of the jet can be adjusted by turning the nozzles with a needle or a 0.8 mm drill shank, see fig. The direction of rotation of the jets in the rear window washer nozzles on the Wagon models.
If the direction of the jet of liquid sprayed by the nozzle is not adjustable, or the jet of liquid is uneven, replace the washer nozzles.
If necessary, blow out the washer nozzles with compressed air. To do this, remove the nozzles and blow it from the hose connection side.
Warning: Do not blow nozzles in the opposite direction of fluid flow.
Adjust the headlight washer nozzles so that the liquid is sprayed onto the headlight glass at the points shown in fig. The location of the liquid supply points on the glass of the left headlight.
