On cars manufactured before 12.96, the position of the washer nozzles is not adjustable. If the stream of liquid sprayed by the nozzles is at different heights on the windshield, it is necessary to replace the washer nozzles with adjustable washer nozzles, which are installed on models from 1.97, see Fig. Correct spraying of liquid on the windshield.
On cars manufactured from I.97 onwards, adjustable washer nozzles are installed, which allow the height of the sprayed liquid stream to be adjusted. For this purpose, an eccentric is installed at the base of the nozzle. When the eccentric is turned counterclockwise, the liquid stream sprayed by the nozzle rises upward, see Fig. The location of the eccentric for adjusting the height of the sprayed liquid stream.
The rear window washer nozzles on Estate models should deliver a stream of fluid to the center of the rear window. The direction of the stream can be adjusted by turning the nozzles with a needle or a 0.8 mm drill bit, see Fig. Direction of rotation of the nozzles in the rear window washer nozzles on Estate models.
If the direction of the fluid spray from the nozzle is not adjusted, or the fluid stream is uneven, replace the washer nozzles.
If necessary, blow out the washer nozzles with compressed air. To do this, remove the nozzles and blow it from the hose connection side.
Warning: Do not blow through the nozzles in the opposite direction to the fluid flow.
Adjust the headlight washer nozzles so that the fluid is sprayed onto the headlight glass at the points shown in Fig. Location of fluid supply points on the left headlight glass.
