Note: When adjusting the ignition timing, it is necessary to determine whether the vacuum hose from the vacuum ignition timing regulator on the distributor should be disconnected or left connected. The engine number and its letter designation are stamped on the left side of the cylinder block.
1) For models with subsequent equipment with an adjustable catalytic converter: the control value is 16'...20' before TDC; adjustable value - 18° ±1 before TDC; shaft rotation frequency when adjusting ignition timing - 900 ±75 1/min; the vacuum hose is connected.
2) Remove the hose and plug it with a suitable plug, such as a clean bolt.
3) Disconnect the temperature sensor plug.
4) From 10/90: 900 ±100 1/min.
5) From 10/93: 800 ±100 1/min.
