Caution: Check the strength of the battery mount, as its service life will be reduced if it wobbles.
Cleaning the battery terminals
During regular inspection of the vehicle, it is also necessary to clean and treat the battery terminals and connecting terminals with acid-resistant protective grease.
Check the strength of the positive battery cable by hand; tighten the cable if necessary.
Battery conservation
An unused battery discharges itself over time. If the car is not used for a long time, the following measures must be taken:
Check the battery charge status and recharge the battery if necessary.
Disconnect the ground wire from the battery so that it does not discharge through constantly connected devices, such as a clock.
Recharge the battery every 3 months.
Caution: Check the charge status of older batteries at shorter intervals. Do not leave the battery in a discharged state, as this will damage its plates.
Checking the electrolyte level
Warning: Do not expose the battery to open flame. Explosive!

The fluid level in the battery should be between the "MAX" and "MIN" marks.
If necessary, top up the fluid level to the prescribed level. If there are no level marks, the fluid level should be 6 mm above the upper edge of the battery plates.
Caution: Use only distilled water to top up the level.
