Attention: When replacing the engine control unit, the new control unit must be configured according to the installed anti-theft system.
Action:
When the ignition is switched on, the anti-theft system is activated. In this case, electrical energy is transmitted through the reading coil to the transponent in the key by induction.
The key code is read and transmitted to the control unit, where this code is compared with the value written. Finally, the engine control unit code is checked.
If the codes do not match, the engine will stall after at most 2 seconds.
