When using the compact spare emergency wheel, please note the following:
The emergency wheel can be installed on the front and rear axles.
The emergency wheel is intended for temporary and short-term replacement only. If it is necessary to install a wheel when a tire is damaged, it should then be replaced with a normal wheel as soon as possible.
After installing the emergency wheel, the tire pressure should be checked as soon as possible, which should be 4.2 bar.
When the emergency wheel is installed, do not drive at a speed of more than 80 km/h. Acceleration at full throttle, hard braking and flat curves should be avoided.
The size of the emergency wheel is smaller than normal. The ground clearance of the respective axle is therefore reduced by approx. 30 mm. To avoid damage to low-lying parts of the vehicle, do not drive over large obstacles or pits. With the emergency wheel fitted, the automatic car wash must not be used either - the car could sink.
The emergency wheel is specially designed for this type of vehicle. Therefore, it cannot be used on other types of vehicles. Also, emergency wheels from other types of cars are not suitable for use.
Application of snow chains (screw chains) on a compact emergency wheel for technical reasons is not allowed. If it is necessary to drive with snow chains, if the front wheel is damaged, install the wheel from the rear axle in its place, and install the emergency wheel on the rear axle. In this case, it is recommended to apply an anti-skid chain to the wheel before mounting the wheel on the front axle.
Do not mount summer or winter tires on the emergency wheel rim.
Never install 2 or more emergency wheels on the vehicle at the same time.
