The emergency wheel can be installed on the front or rear axle.
The emergency wheel is intended for temporary and short-term replacement only. If a wheel needs to be installed due to a damaged tire, it should then be replaced with a normal wheel as soon as possible.
After installing the spare wheel, you should check the tire pressure as soon as possible, which should be 4.2 bar.
When the emergency wheel is installed, do not drive faster than 80 km/h. Avoid accelerating at full throttle, braking abruptly and driving flat on curves.
The size of the emergency wheel is smaller than the normal one. Therefore, the ground clearance of the corresponding bridge is reduced by approximately 30 mm. To avoid damage to low-lying parts of the car, do not drive over large obstacles or holes. When the emergency wheel is installed, do not use an automatic car wash - the car could sink.
The emergency wheel is designed specifically for this type of vehicle. Therefore, it cannot be used on other types of vehicles. Emergency wheels from other types of vehicles are also of little use.
Application of anti-skid chains (auger chains) on a compact emergency wheel is not allowed for technical reasons. If it is necessary to drive with anti-skid chains, if the front wheel is damaged, the wheel from the rear axle should be installed in its place, and the emergency wheel should be installed on the rear axle. In this case, it is recommended to put an anti-skid chain on the wheel before installing it on the front axle.
Summer or winter tires cannot be mounted on the rim of the emergency wheel.
Never install 2 or more emergency wheels on a vehicle at the same time.
