Removal
Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
Loosen the generator mounting bolts and remove the generator drive belts.
Turn the crankshaft to the TDC position of the end of the compression stroke of the piston of the 1st cylinder. In this case, the mark on the crankshaft pulley should be opposite the edge of the projection "Z" of the indicator on the cylinder block.
Loosen the crankshaft pulley mounting bolt.
Remove the front timing belt cover and loosen the belt tension.

Note: Do not allow the crankshaft to rotate until the oil pump is fully installed.
Remove the crankshaft pulley and camshaft drive belt.
Remove the oil level dipstick.
Drain the oil from the engine crankcase.
Remove the oil pan.
Remove the oil receiver tube with the oil receiver.
Remove the front cylinder block cover together with the oil pump.
Lubrication system details:
1 - oil seal;
2 - oil pump;
3 - mounting pin;
4, 8 - gaskets;
5 - oil pipeline of the valve timing mechanism;
6 - oil dipstick;
7 - oil filter;
9 - oil receiver.
Installation
Assembly should be carried out in the reverse order of disassembly, with the following:
- install the oil pump with the protrusions of the drive gear on the flats of the crankshaft;
- replace gaskets;
- install the camshaft drive belt and adjust its tension;
- adjust the tension of the alternator drive belt;
- fill the engine with oil. Check the engine idle speed and ignition timing.
When installing the oil pump, engage the protrusions of the drive gear with the flats of the crankshaft.
