Removal



Warning! Jacking up your vehicle and placing it on jack stands may pose a risk of injury. Read the safety precautions for jacking up your vehicle.


1. Mark the direction of rotation of the wheel with an arrow on the sidewall of the tire.

2. Loosen the wheel bolts.

3. Jack up the car and remove the wheel.

4. Unscrew eleven bolts 4 and remove the front part of the mudguard 3 from the wheel arch (see illustration).

5. Unscrew the seven bolts 2 and remove the rear part 1 of the mudguard from the wheel arch (see illustration 46.4).

Installation



6. Install the mudguard liner components into the wheel well and secure them with bolts.

7. Install the removed wheel in place, observing the direction of rotation marked on it, and screw in the wheel bolts.

8. Lower the vehicle onto its wheels and tighten the wheel mounting bolts in a criss-cross pattern to 120 Nm.

9. Unscrew nine bolts 2 and remove the mudguard 1 from the wheel arch (see illustration).

10. Unscrew fifteen bolts 2 and remove the mudguard 1 from the wheel arch (see illustration).

11. Unscrew fifteen bolts and remove the fender liner from the wheel arch.
