Golf cars
Removal the bumper
1. Remove the radiator grille.
2. Unscrew bolts 5 and 6, as well as the lower bolts 4 (see illustration).

5-6 - mounting bolts. Tightening torque 5 Nm

3. Unscrew bolts 2 and 3, which secure both mudguards (see illustration 42.2).
4. Using an assistant, remove the bumper from the side guides and remove it.
5. Disconnect all plugs. The bumper is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Removal the bumper crossbar
6. Unscrew the 14 crossmember mounting bolts. Two of them are located in the center of the crossmember.
Installation
7. Secure the cross member with bolts.
8. Tighten the eight hexagon-head mounting bolts on the left and right sides of the crossmember to 60 Nm.
9. Tighten the six socket head cap screws to 8 Nm.
Touran cars
Removal the bumper
10. Remove the radiator grille.
11. Remove both fender liners from the wheel arches.
12. Unscrew bolts 2 and 7, as well as bolts 3 and 4 (see illustration).

13. Use a screwdriver to remove the two release clips 5 (see illustration 42.12).
14. Remove the bumper, holding it together with an assistant, from the side guide profiles 6 and remove it.
15. Disconnect all plugs.
The bumper is installed in the reverse order of removal.
Removal the bumper crossbar
16. Unscrew the 12 crossmember mounting bolts.
Installation
17. Secure the cross member with bolts.
18. Tighten the eight hexagon-head mounting bolts on the left and right sides of the crossmember to 60 Nm.
19. Tighten the four socket head cap screws to 8 Nm.
