- 1 - gear lever;
- 2 - lever with the leading part of the gear selection rod;
- arrow A - movement when switching;
- arrow B - movement when choosing gears
Transverse movement is used to shift gears (choice of movement) in the idle position and the actual movement when switching.
On vehicles with 1.4-/1.6-I engines, rods are used for shifting, and on models with 1.8-/1.9-/2.3-I engines, two cables are used.
