Remote control of locks (VW Golf 4)

The following operations can be performed using remote radio control without using conventional keys:

• using the central door locking system, unlock and lock the doors;
• turn on and off the self-insurance and alarm system;
• limit the operation of the individual door opening mode to the driver's door only;
• turn on the interior lighting.

The radio transmitter with battery is located in the head of the car key. The radio receiver is located in the car interior.



The range of the remote control is shown in the figure. The maximum range depends on many factors.

As the battery discharges, the range decreases.
