The key is located in the armrest of the left door.
- A - right side;
- B - left side
The key is also active when the ignition is off.
Blocking
By pressing the right side A of the key, all doors and the back door are blocked. Unwanted opening of doors and tailgate from outside or intrusion into the vehicle (e.g. when stopping at a traffic light) no longer possible.
When the car is locked with a key, it is possible to unlock the doors individually. To do this, pull the opening handle of the corresponding door until the lock button is lifted up. Pulling the handle again will open the door.
When the driver's door is open, it will not lock. This prevents the driver from being outside a car that is locked from the inside.
Self-insurance and security alarm system do not turn on when the button is pressed.
Warning: If the central locking button in the armrest of the driver's door is pressed, all other doors and the rear door will automatically lock.
Warning: Since it is difficult to get help from outside when the doors are locked, children should never be left unattended in the vehicle.
Caution: The locked side doors and tailgate also prevent undesirable intrusion into the passenger compartment, for example when stopping at a traffic light.
Unlock
By pressing the left side B of the button, all side doors and, depending on the position of the rear door lock, also the rear door are unlocked.
