Switching on outdoor lighting (1)
- off;
- parking lights;
- low or high beam.
Headlights are on only when the ignition is on. During engine start and after the ignition is turned off, they automatically switch to the parking lights.
Warning: If, after removing the key from the ignition lock, the lights remain on, a buzzer will sound when the driver's door is open.
- fog lights.
Pull the outdoor lighting switch in the position of the parking lights or low / high beam to the first fixed position.
When the fog lights are on, the corresponding green icon is lit.
- rear fog lamp.
VEHICLES WITHOUT FOG LIGHTS
Turn the outdoor lighting switch to the low/high beam position and pull it out as far as it will go.
VEHICLES WITH FOG LIGHTS
Pull the outdoor light switch in the position of the parking lights or low / high beam to the second fixed position.
Warning: When the rear fog lamp is on, the indicator lamp on the instrument panel is on.
Warning: Due to the strong glare of the rear fog lamp, it should only be switched on when visibility is poor. The wiring diagram of the factory-installed equipment required for towing a trailer is designed in such a way that when the trailer is operated with a rear fog lamp, the corresponding vehicle lamp is automatically turned off.
Illumination of control devices (2)
When the outdoor lighting is on, the brightness of the illumination of control devices is smoothly regulated by a dial located next to the outdoor lighting switch.
Headlight beam leveler (3)
With the help of an electrically operated adjusting mechanism, the headlight beam angle can be continuously adjusted according to the vehicle load. This reduces the risk of dazzling oncoming drivers. At the same time, due to the correct installation of the headlights, the driver is provided with better visibility conditions.
The headlight installation process can only be carried out with the dipped beam on.
To lower the light cone downwards, the rotary control must be moved from the initial position (-) turn down.
Alarm
The alarm system also functions when the ignition is off.
Turn on the alarm when, for example:
- You have reached the end of the traffic jam;
- You have been involved in a traffic accident;
- Your vehicle has stopped due to a technical problem.
When the alarm is on, all direction indicators flash simultaneously. The control lamps of the direction indicators and the control lamp in the switch also flash.
