Interior Lighting Control
The interior lighting remains on for a maximum of 10 minutes when the door is open. This prevents unnecessary discharge of the battery.
On vehicles with central locking, the interior lights are switched on for approximately 20 seconds when the vehicle doors are unlocked, one of the doors is opened or the key is removed from the ignition. This requires that the switch for the relevant light be in the door contact control position.
However, the lamps immediately go out when the car doors are locked or when the ignition is turned on.
