The position of the mirror is set by button A in accordance with the directions of the arrows.
- L - left mirror;
- O - installation;
- R is the right mirror.
Rear-view mirrors must be installed before starting a trip in such a way that at any time you can see the traffic situation behind the car.
Interior mirror installation
Manual anti-dazzle setting
1. In the main position of the mirror, the lever on the bottom of the mirror should point forward.
2. To achieve an anti-glare effect, move the lever back.
Automatic creation of anti-dazzle effect
3. The mirror is installed manually.
4. When the ignition is on, the interior mirror darkens when the light flux falls from behind (e.g. headlights), the intensity of darkening depends on the amount of light flux from behind.
5.When reverse gear is engaged or the selector is moved to the position "R" the mirror switches to its original position (no antiglare effect).
Installation of external mirrors without electric drive
Installation of outside mirrors from the inside without electric drive is carried out manually by means of a button located in the door upholstery.
Installation of exterior mirrors with electric drive
1. To install the mirrors there is a rotary button.
2. The position of the mirror is set by button A in accordance with the directions of the arrows.
3. If the electric drive fails, you can install the exterior mirrors manually by pressing on the mirror rim.
Synchronous installation of exterior mirrors
1. First, set both mirrors to their original position. To do this, install the mirrors separately, first the left, then the right, as described above.
2. After that, it will be possible to install both mirrors at the same time when you install the left mirror
3. After a certain time, it may become necessary to bring both mirrors back to their original positions.
Application instructions for convex and aspherical exterior mirrors
Convex rear-view mirrors increase the field of view, while objects are presented in a reduced form. For this reason, these mirrors are only very conditionally suitable for estimating the distance to vehicles moving behind.
Aspherical mirrors have a mirror surface of different curvature. These wide angle mirrors increase the field of view even more than convex mirrors. They are also only very limitedly useful for estimating the distance to vehicles following.
Heated mirrors
The electrically adjustable exterior mirrors are heated as long as the heated rear window is on. The ignition must be on.
On vehicles destined for export to countries with a cold climate, the heating of the exterior mirrors is switched on when the exterior mirrors are installed electrically.
Memory for exterior mirrors
Vehicles with memory for the driver's seat also have memory for the exterior mirrors.
Any set position of the exterior mirrors is automatically stored in the memory when memorizing the driver's seat adjustments.
The driver's seat must be adjusted first. Then mirrors are installed in accordance with the installation of the driver's seat.
Automatic setting of the right exterior mirror when reversing
When reverse gear is engaged, the right exterior mirror automatically assumes a pre-set position, if such a position has been previously set.
This ensures that the right curbstone is visible when parking. The mirror returns to its normal position as soon as the reverse gear is disengaged.
The preset position of the right exterior mirror for reversing can be changed and memorized in accordance with individual characteristics.
