Interior mirror adjustment
Mirror with manual anti-dazzle adjustment
In the initial position, the lever on the lower edge of the mirror should be directed forward. To set the mirror to the anti-dazzle position, turn the lever back.
Mirror with automatic anti-dazzle adjustment
Adjust the mirror manually.
When the ignition is turned on, the mirror automatically darkens depending on how much light enters the passenger compartment from behind (for example, from the headlights of a car behind).
The mirror returns to its original form (i.e. does not protect against blinding) when reverse gear is engaged.
Exterior mirror adjustment
Exterior mirrors mechanically adjustable from the inside
These mirrors are adjustable with a button in the door trim.
Exterior mirrors electrically adjustable
These mirrors are controlled by a rotary switch.
- L - Left mirror
- A - heating
- R - Right mirror
Turning the rotary switch selects the adjustable mirror (left or right).
Then, by moving the regulator to the right-left and up-down, the selected mirror is moved to the desired position. If this method of adjustment does not work for some reason, the mirrors can be adjusted manually.
Synchronized mirror adjustment
First, both mirrors must be set to the base position. To do this, first separately adjust the left, then the right mirror, as described above. You can then finally adjust both mirrors together by adjusting the left mirror only.
Remarks on concave and convex mirrors
A convex mirror increases the field of view but reduces visible objects. It distorts the idea of the distance to the object and can lead to surprises. A concave mirror, on the contrary, reduces the field of view, but enlarges objects and, as it were, brings them closer to the observer. You can use such mirrors, but you need to get used to them.
Heated mirrors
Turn the switch to position A to turn on the heated exterior mirrors.
