This system allows you to move at a constant selected speed of over 30 km/h without pedaling, regardless of road conditions, if the engine has the necessary power.

This system allows you to move at a constant selected speed of over 30 km/h without pedaling,…

Warning: The cruise control system should not be used in heavy traffic or poor road conditions (slippery, wet road, gravel).

Note: On vehicles with an automatic transmission, cruise control only works when the selector is in positions D, 3 or 2. In other selector positions (P, N, R or 1) the system shuts down.

Turning on the system

To operate the cruise control, there are buttons A and B on the multifunction switch lever. To turn on the system, slide button A to the ON position. The indicator on the instrument panel should show that the system is on.

Selecting the speed of movement

Accelerate the car in the usual way by pressing the accelerator pedal. When the desired speed is reached, briefly press the B button. Now you can take your foot off the accelerator pedal. The car will maintain the set speed.

The car's speed can be increased in the usual way by pressing the accelerator pedal. If the pedal is then released, the previous speed will be restored.

The previous speed may not be restored if the speed was temporarily exceeded by more than 10 km/h and for a period of more than 5 minutes. In this case, the desired speed must be set again.

Caution: Resume speed only if it is not too high for the driving conditions.

Changing the selected speed

To reduce the speed of movement, press the lower side of the button B. A short press of the button reduces the speed by one programmed step. If you keep the button pressed, the speed will decrease gradually. When you reach the desired speed, release the button. The speed will be saved.

If you release the button at a speed below 30 km/h, the values stored in the memory will be deleted. If desired, you can restore the system operation as described above by accelerating the car to a speed exceeding 30 km/h.

You can increase the speed of the car without pressing the accelerator pedal. To do this, press the upper side of button B. A short press of the button will increase the speed by one programmed step. If you hold the button down, the speed will increase gradually. When you reach the desired speed, release the button. The speed will be saved.

Temporary system shutdown

You can temporarily switch off the system by sliding switch A to the OFF position until it hits the spring. The previous speed is saved in memory. If you release switch A, the spring will return it to its previous position. To confirm the previous speed, press the upper side of button B.

Complete system shutdown

The system can be completely turned off by moving switch A to the right (to the OFF position) or turn off the ignition.

General remarks

The cruise control system cannot maintain the set speed when driving downhill. The car will accelerate and you have to use the brakes.

Caution: When the system is on, do not shift into neutral without pressing the clutch pedal, otherwise the engine will start to rev up and may be damaged.
