The heating only functions when the ignition is on. When the heating is on, the control lamp in the switch lights up.
While the rear window is clean, do not turn on the heating. Reducing the number of operating current consumers helps save fuel.
On vehicles with electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, the mirror surface heating is switched on simultaneously with the rear window heating.
On vehicles intended for export to countries with cold climates, heated exterior mirrors are switched on when the exterior mirrors are installed using an electric drive.
