Removal
1. Pull the hood release handle approximately 2 cm (A – hood release handle, B – spring clip, C – trim).
2. Insert the blade of a thin screwdriver into the gap between the hood release lever and the spring clip (B).
3. Release the hood release handle, which will release the spring clip from the handle.

Warning: When removed, the spring clip falls behind the side trim in the driver's footwell.
4. Release the side trim from the spring clips, first at the bottom corner of the A-pillar, then the spring clip at the top.
Installation
1. Secure the side trim to the driver's footwell using spring clips.
2. First, secure the trim to the bottom of the A-pillar, then the top of the side trim to the bracket.
3. Install the spring clip onto the hood release lever.
4. Install the hood release lever onto the bracket.
Warning: Before closing the hood, check the functionality of the hood release lever and hood release cable.
