Removal and installation the front wing niche trim (VW Golf 4)

Front fender niche trim details

• 1 - Front wing niche trim;
• 2 - nut;
• 3 - screw;
• 4 - bracket with nut

Removal

1. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.

2. Remove the corresponding front wheel.

3. Unscrew 12 screws (3) and remove the front wing niche trim.

Installation

1. Install the front fender well trim under the front fender arch and secure with 12 screws.

2. Install the front wheel, then lower the vehicle to the ground.

3. Tighten the wheel mounting bolts in a diagonal sequence to a torque of 120 Nm.
