Be sure to replace the O-rings after disassembling the brake seat. They are included in the repair kit.
Never attempt to use any piston or cylinder whose sliding surfaces are worn, nicked or oxidized, always mount the cylinder assembly.
Use only brake fluid prescribed by the standard and never use old fluid.
Lubricate pistons and o-rings (cuffs) either clean brake fluid or brake grease.
In these brake seats, the cylinder body moves on two sliding bushes. The piston is used in the cylinder.
Clamp the cylinder in a vise and remove the dust ring from the cylinder and piston (screwdriver).
Insert a piece of wood into the recess in front of the piston and blow the piston out of the hole using compressed air. Insert wood piece. Lead the pipeline with compressed air to the place marked with an arrow.
Using a screwdriver, carefully pry up the sealing ring placed on the inside of the cylindrical hole.
Thoroughly clean all parts and, if the cylinder is in good condition, use the parts from the spare kit when assembling.
Insert a new O-ring lubricated with brake fluid or brake grease into the groove.
Place the anti-dust ring so that the outer sealing lip faces the piston, and lubricate the piston surface with brake fluid or brake grease.
Place the piston in the cylinder and use a screwdriver to insert the inner sealing lip of the dust ring into the groove of the cylinder.
Install the clamp and slowly push the piston into the hole, if there is no clamp, you need to use something similar. It is possible, for example. try gently moving the piston with a flat piece of wood.
