When replacing the clutch cable, disconnect the cable ends from the clutch lever and pedal, and then remove the cable through the engine compartment shield. It is necessary to pay attention to the fastening of the cable to the clutch lever, shown in fig. 275, as well as the position of the rubber gasket 14. After installing the cable, adjust the free play of the clutch pedal. The clutch is driven by a fork installed in the gearbox. Fork guiding element. is a bushing at the end of the main shaft. The spherical bearing is located under the gear cover at the end of the lever that controls the gearbox. As seen in fig. 275, the clutch lever shaft is also located in the gearbox housing.
