When replacing the clutch cable, disconnect the ends of the cable from the clutch lever and pedal, and then remove the cable through the engine compartment shield. It is necessary to pay attention to the fastening of the cable to the clutch lever, shown in Figure 275, as well as the position of the rubber gasket 14. After installing the cable, adjust the amount of free play of the clutch pedal. The clutch is driven by a fork installed in the gearbox. The element guiding the fork is the bushing at the end of the main shaft. The spherical support is under the toothed cover at the end of the lever controlling the gearbox. As can be seen in Figure 275, the clutch lever shaft is also located in the gearbox housing.
