Removing
Remove pump injectors.
Carefully remove the O-rings from the unit injector.
Make sure that there are no burrs at the seat of the O-rings.
Installation
NOTE: Always use mounting sleeves T10056 when mounting O-rings. Otherwise, there is a high risk of damage to the O-rings.
Sliding application of O-rings without identification color marking.
Pay attention to the correct ratio of O-rings and grooves: the thickness of the rings decreases towards the nozzle.
Avoid roller movement when installing O-rings. O-rings must not be twisted in the housing of the unit injector.
Remove the heat seal along with the circlip.
Thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces of the O-rings on the unit injector.
Insert the mounting sleeve T10056/ 1 into the unit injector as far as it will go (pic. 2.296).
Carefully insert the top, thick O-ring into the mounting sleeve and into the housing of the unit injector.
Remove the mounting sleeve.
Insert the mounting sleeve T10056/2 into the unit injector as far as it will go.
Carefully insert the medium, thin O-ring into the mounting sleeve and into the housing of the unit injector.
Remove the mounting sleeve. Insert the mounting sleeve T10056/3 into the unit injector as far as it will go.
Carefully insert the bottom O-ring into the mounting sleeve and into the housing of the unit injector. Remove the mounting sleeve. Install a new heat seal along with the circlip.
Install the injector.
