Drain the cooling system.
Loosen the generator fastening and remove the V-belt. Loosen the bolts 6 (figure 230) fastening pulley 5 of the coolant pump. To hold the pulley, you can use a V-belt.

Remove the timing belt cover. Loosen the clamps on the pump hoses and remove them.
Loosen the pump body mounting bolts and remove it from the body. There is a circular cross-section sealing ring under the pump body, which should be removed and checked. The second sealing ring is installed on the inlet pipe in the pump body.
The pump is installed in the reverse order. The bolts securing the housing and the pump pulley are tightened to a torque of 20 Nm. The tension of the V-belt is adjusted in the manner described below.
