The fluid pump is beyond repair. In the event of a malfunction, it must be replaced.
After removing the pump, check that there are no signs of leaks on it (most often in the form of rusty spots), and the ease of rotation of the shaft (turn your hand).
When replacing the pump, the housing must be removed. Loosen the cover screws and remove the pump. Remove the gasket between both parts of the pump housing. When installing the cover, replace the gasket as well as the thermostat housing seals.
