The location of the thermostat installation is shown in figure 230. It is located in the liquid pump body under the cover, which is installed using a circular sealing ring. The thermostat can be removed after disconnecting the hose and mounting bolts from the cover. Remove the sealing ring from the cover and immediately check its condition.
The thermostat cannot be repaired and if it fails it should be replaced. The method for checking the thermostat was described here.
