Removal and installation the front seat (VW Golf 2)

1. Lift the hook at the rear of the masking strip on the guide.

2. Move the masking strip from the guide towards the rear of the vehicle.

3. Move the seat forward.

4. Loosen the nut that limits the rearward movement of the seat.

5. Remove the hexagon socket head bolt and retaining ring.

6. Unlock the travel lever and slide the seat back from the guides.

Check the condition of the front and rear sliders.

Installation

1. Place the seat on the guides from the rear and move it forward.

2. Install the bolt, put the safety ring on it and lightly tighten the nut.

3. Put on the masking strip.
