When driving from a standstill with the front wheels fully turned, a clicking or popping noise may occur. The bearing is slightly displaced in its housing. It is recommended to lubricate with paste "Moli" the place where the bearing is located (but not the bearing). The outer ring of the bearing is pressed into the bearing housing; the wheel hub is pressed into the inner ring. On the new wheel bearing being installed, in no case should you hit it with a hammer, this can cause damage to it. Pressing and pressing out are carried out in the workshop.
Loosen the collar nut at the axle shaft.
Remove wheel; remove disc brake caliper (see section "Removing the disc brake caliper", chapter "brakes") and hang at the body along with the brake hose.
Remove brake disc (see section "Removing the brake disc", chapter "brakes").
Mark the position of the camber adjustment screw. Loosen both screw connections at the bottom of the suspension strut.
Remove wheel bearing housing and brake disc shield.
Disconnect the wheel hub from the wheel bearing inner race.
Remove the brake disc shield.
Remove the bearing inner race from the wheel hub.
Remove the bearing retainers on both sides. Pull the bearing out of the housing.
Insert the retaining ring from the outer side of the bearing, press the bearing in until it stops: install the second retaining ring.
To press in the wheel hub, the inner race of the bearing must be supported so that the bearing is not overloaded.
