Dismantling
Loosen the wheel nuts, raise the front of the car, remove the wheel.
Loosen the brake pad.
Attention! Do not loosen the hose from the pillow, otherwise you will have to remove the air. Attach the pillow to the structure with a hook.
(40-643) remove the hub cover.
Unscrew the axle nut.
Remove brake disc.
If the bearings need to be replaced, the rotating ring can be knocked out with a soft (aluminum or brass) mandrel.
New rotating rings are pressed in with a suitable tool until they stop. Then lubricate the rear bearing with multipurpose grease and press in the O-ring.
Installation
Fill the hub with multipurpose grease.
Before installation, check the brake disc. It shouldn't have any scratches. The thickness of the new disc is 13 mm, the wear limit is reached at 11 mm.
Install the brake disc, lubricate and install the outer bearing, push on the thrust washer.
Tighten the nut.
Adjust bearing clearance.
Install cover, see note above.
Attach the brake pad, screw in the cone bolt at the top (with one collar), below - a hex bolt, both with a torque of 160 Nm.
Screw on the wheel bolts, lower the vehicle, tighten the wheel bolts crosswise with a torque of 180 Nm.
