The shock absorber can be checked manually.
Remove shock absorber.
Keep the shock absorber in an upright position when assembled. It is best to put it on the ground and hold it with your feet. Then stretch and squeeze the shock absorber several times.
The shock absorber must move evenly. If necessary, you can compare it with a new shock absorber.
Defective shock absorbers are also determined while driving on a roar or too strong body vibrations.
If the shock absorber works flawlessly, small traces of oil are not grounds for its replacement. With large oil losses, the shock absorber is stretched and squeezed jerkily.
If oil loss is high, replace the shock absorber.
With one faulty shock absorber, the other does not need to be replaced.
