The shock absorber can be checked manually.

Remove the shock absorber.

Keep the shock absorber upright in the assembled state. It is best to place it on the ground and hold it with your feet. Then stretch and squeeze the shock absorber several times.

The shock absorber should move smoothly. If necessary, you can compare it with a new shock absorber.

Defective shock absorbers are also identified during driving by the rattling noise or excessive vibrations of the body.

If the shock absorber is working perfectly, small traces of oil are not a reason to replace it. If there is a large loss of oil, the shock absorber stretches and compresses in jerks.

If there is significant oil loss, replace the shock absorber.
